My 2 year old son loves going to the Muldrow Park. He loves the splash pad there and to be honest it is actually also mine & my hubby's favorite splash pad to take him to as well. We prefer Muldrow the absolute BEST! I mean out of Muldrow, Fort Smith & Sallisaw splash pads, it is the only gated one, which is way safer in my opinion. I mean as a parent it is a no-brainer, Muldrow for the WIN!!! ALSO, Muldrow maybe the town could put some updated activities/more options as far as equipment for kids (& adult-children-at-heart). I've seen some really cool, modernized versions of the classic playground equipment we all remember & love from our very own childhoods, simply re-imagined. The older kids play but there is no swings for them. The walking trail is always busy and wonderfully maintained. There is grills, basketball hoops and courts. The only bad thing is the bathrooms. I found a needle in there one time and they are always dirty. If you want to go to an awesome park go here, but use the restroom...
Read moreWe had a grad/bon voyage party and rented the building for the kitchen space. It was great and all, but (though no fault of the park maintenance themselves) the people who rented the sleeve before us DID NOT clean the kitchen when they were done. My grandma cleaned up for them, and she shouldn't have. Bring the weekend (Memorial Day weekend at that) it's understandable that park maintenance staff wouldn't be available to catch that before we arrived. But it was still...
