Ed's Glass & More LLC — Attraction in Muncie

My wife went there earlier today (6/12) and was going to buy two glass vases and some glasses. She said that the lady at the register got really snotty and rude with her. She had OUR debit card which had my name on it. The lady wouldn't let her use it because the name on the card and on her ID didn't match (even though the last name is exactly the same, but whatever. I get the security reasons on that but she said the lady was very rude about it) and so my wife said she would send me in later the same day to get the items. The lady from what I was told immediately took the box of items quickly away as if my wife was going to steal them.

She told me she was shaking so bad afterwards because she was so angry. My wife and I both work customer service jobs and if either of us had acted like that, our respective supervisors would be immediately having a one on one meeting or can us instantly. I've never been in your store and now I sure as hell won't go in, she's never returning and she told her mother what happened and she said she's never going back either. Way to alienate your customer base and lose sales, Ed's glass.

I absolutely love that place,,at one time you could get to the back of the store,so many different things back there,Back then there prices were great,I would always stock up ,for winter & for day's it mite storm ,power outage. The prices they have now are just to much,I realize like every place else they had to go up on prices, some of the things didn't need to go up as high as they did ,THERE staff are great, always so friendly,,I use to come out with 3 to 4 boxes of stuff,,today 1 small box, I wanted to give a 5 start rating. This place is a Muncie treasure! I have always loved shopping here for candles, glasses, and things for random arts and crafts. But my all-time favorite score was the frosted glass for our wedding aisle luminaries (pictured). They made our wedding all the more special! And to make it even better, we bought 100 of them for $35. Unbeatable. I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already....
