
This was an absolutely beautiful falls! A great place to stop if you’re in the area, especially if you’re visiting Miners Falls or Miners Castle. The only thing that bumped the fifth star off was the fact that the way to the parking was blocked by road work, so we were forced to park on the opposite end of Miners Beach and walk all the way down to see it. (I really wanted to see it, but super inconvenient) and it was really foggy and the waves were huge that day so I couldn’t get any good pictures. Read moreVery worth the detour! It's a very short walk from the parking lot. The falls were a little smaller than the pictures would lead you to believe, but it's sooo beautiful! The beach was nice. No litter, and it wasn't crowded when we were there. We got there when the black flies were in their larval phase, so I would imagine June to September is probably horribly buggy, like most U.P. lakeshores.
The beach was covered in some of the biggest pieces of driftwood I've ever seen! There were all sorts of animal tracks in the sand.
