In order to fairly evaluate this water park, which rather deserves to be called a toddler pool, one should consider the suitability for different target groups separately, whereby I limit myself in this evaluation to the target group of parents with children up to approx. 12 years and from 12 years.
For parents with children up to 12 years: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 For parents who want a little diversion with their young children in the Murfreesboro area, the water park is quite suitable. Attractions like two small slides and a couple of smaller geysers are good for toddlers to cool off. Due to the maximum depth of about 2 feet, a parent can also be with the kids and take care of their own toddler without any problems.
For people over 12 years: 🌟 Since the attractions offered tend to all be geared towards toddlers and younger children, this water park is not suitable for those over 12. Each private pool is deeper and if you want to go swimming it's best to rather go to a river nearby or drive to Lake Greeson to go swimming. Furthermore, the $10 per person over the age of 2 is quite a lot for what little is offered and the fact that there is nothing on the internet about the one slide not working is also quite a shame as you only notice it when you have already paid and then it is...
Read moreGreat if you are under eight years old, not so great otherwise.
Pros: It is clean, and oasis right next to the hot diamond field, so who wouldn't want a dip after digging in the hot sun all morning? It has a couple waterfalls with a "massage" type jet for adults. For young children, it has a play structure and two additional mild waterslides. The water temperature was perfect on a hot day--refreshing, but not too cold.
Cons: Pricey for the size of the pool and limited features at $12 apiece. Major con: MAX DEPTH IS 3 FEET! Most adults probably take for granted that standard pool depth usually goes at least to 4 feet. You expect it to come to at least stomach or chest level, right? This pool has no places over 3 feet, which means that the water doesn't quite even reach waist height. It's hard for anyone over age 10 to even swim at this depth, much less stay cool while standing up. If you want your shoulders to get some relief from the sun you either have to stand under a waterfall the whole time, sit down in the 2 foot area, or stand around splashing your shoulders and torso. The 3 foot maximum was just a very odd choice for the park when...
Read moreLife guards were rude. Says under 2 free. I gave the ages of my kids- 11, 9, 6, 2, and 2 adults. Was told the 2 year old was free and didn’t need a bracelet. 10 minutes in my oldest comes to me and says a lady told her we needed to pay for the 2 year old because she was old enough. After the lifeguard staring me down I walked over and asked what the problem was and stated she was 2 and he said she was free. She then told me it was under two not two. I said okay that’s fine and walked over to pay. The two employees disagreed on rather it was 2 and under or of it was under 2. I paid the 6.00 for her and went on my way. Had a few other minuscule annoyances with the one lifeguard but let them go. Then my 6 year old was told he couldn’t go down the slide anymore because he was going down too much 🙄. Told him to go down anyways because this is what we paid for. Wasted 56.00 to play on a splash pad....
