I really enjoy the paved trails, there’s a couple miles worth.It’s fun! Go! There’s a lake and some trees and mountains with beautiful views. If you go to the paved parking lot: there’s some trials in the woods and one down to the water. There’s a picnic table and a bench. If you go to the part that says “day use only” and is blocked off for cars?! I’d say this is the best hidden treasure in Blue Ridge. Completely paved trail, about a mile long. At one point? Across from some houses there’s a bench, but you have to find the trail for it. There’s the outer loop but ALSO inner loops with some small dead ends (where the former camping used to be). There’s volunteers that claim to monitor the area, but the bench was broken before March and the kiosk was torn up by some kids in April and it’s still messed up.
