Muscatine Dog Park — Attraction in Muscatine

The Muscatine Dog Park is separated into 3 sections: large dogs, small dogs, shy/timid dogs. Each section has benches, a water fountain, bag station, and small pavillion. There are a couple of young trees planted in each section, which will provide shade once grown. A permit is required and can be obtained at city hall. $15 for an annual permit which looks like a tag for the collar.

We walked the perimeter of the large dog area and it is just over .25 miles. The large dog section has 7 benches, 2 under a small pavillion. At the parking area are two picnic tables under a large pavillion, bag station and water fountain.

This park is nice and clean. It is separated into three zones. Timid/shy, large, and small dog sections. Multiple water fountains. Very large play area. Not much shade for the hot days. Very large well fence well-maintained and my dogs loved it. The only thing I would improve is that it needs more spots that are shaded and they need to get rid of the wasp nest that are in the one part that you can get shade otherwise it was really nice....
