Barc Parc North is an absolute gem for dog owners in Myrtle Beach! This park has more than enough space for dogs to run and play, and it’s fully fenced for peace of mind. The separate areas for large and small dogs ensure that every pup can enjoy their time safely. The people here are wonderful—friendly, responsible, and welcoming. It’s always great to see dogs socializing while their owners chat and enjoy the shaded seating areas. The park is well-maintained, with plenty of water stations and waste disposal areas, making it both convenient and clean. If you’re looking for a fantastic off-leash park where your dog can burn off some energy while you connect with other pet lovers, Barc Parc North is the perfect spot! Highly recommend!

My dogs love the Barc Park! It is a beautiful area with equal areas of sunshine and shade. A water fountain for the dogs is located in both sections. Benches, trash cans, plenty of parking (handicapped parking available). Indoor bathroom amentities are not available. There is a portable lavatory located in the corner of the parking lot. You may want to have your own waste bags stored in your vehicle to be able clean up after your pet. The park does supply them, but sometimes the dispensers are empty.

Boy, I thought I had left the self-righteous owners of the perfect pets up north, but no, I was just informed by one of them that my dog (who spent the first 3 years of her life dreadfully abused) was not welcome because she was ON HER LEASH. People, please understand that when your perfect little 30 pound dog launches himself at my dog she will perceive it as a threat. I know you think your dog is perfect in every way, would never bite, would basically never do anything wrong. But the fact is, they are dogs. All my dog wanted was to be left alone on her leash and have a nice walk but I was not afforded that luxury. She ignored the other dogs and showed no aggression. But apparently if she is not the type who does doggie happy hour, or catches frisbees in the air, or wears a bandanna she's a pariah. How sad for her and for all of those owners whose smug superiority will sooner or later make them pariahs.somewhere along the road of life. Nice park. Lousy human...
