We visited Little Pigs Bar-B-Q while on vacation in South Carolina, when I say this was an excellent bbq experience I mean it! The prices were great and the food was even better, I ordered a half rack of ribs, which you could literally peel the meat right off of the bone the meat was tender and flavorful, the brisket sandwich was amazing the meat practically melted in my mouth I recommend the vinegar based bbq sauce to go with it, the baked beans were very good! The potato was very fresh and delicious as well! My wife got the fried chicken sandwich which was 2 tenders on a put on a bun this didn't take away from the sandwich at all the chicken was tender and juicy and the toppings were fresh and delicious, the macaroni and cheese was incredible cheesy and creamy the onion were nice and thick and crispy, the sweet tea was truly that! Sweet! It was a great experience and the staff were very friendly if I visit the area again I will 10/10 be coming back and you should visit them too if you're thinking about!

Had a great meal! I'm a pretty big BBQ guy, I have a full meat shop in my barn. I picked up dinner for our large group, with about a 25 minute drive back to the house. We were very bummed that at 6pm on Friday they were out of ribs and Mac and cheese. So we picked different sides am entrees for the few that were affected. Food was packaged quickly, staff was very nice. Went through the whole order to make sure we got everything. I got the chopped plate, with Robs sauce and beans and cole slaw. I also got some sides of the hot and Lexington sauces to try. I liked Robs sauce, but the Lexington was my favorite. It is very similar to my sauce. I like my pork shredded more than chopped, but it had great flavor so I wasn't really disappointed. Beans were good. Cole slaw was great! We have already decided we will go again next year, but earlier so we can try the ribs.

Was visiting Myrtle Beach for vacation. We like to try new and non chain restaurants and we like some good bbq :-) We got our order to go. We were a 6 min drive from our hotel. I got the pork plater, pictured, that came with a lot of meat, one bun and 2 sides. There was enough meat for maybe 3 sandwiches. My meat was not even luke warm. The beans were warmer but just barely. The meat didn't really have much flavor. I was disappointed. The beans were nothing special, tasted like canned pork n beans. The bun was just a regular inevitable hamburger bun that was kinda squished. My husband's got 1/2 rack ribs. He said they were good. His was warm. The coleslaw wasn't that great either. The guy taking orders was super frindly. The parking was limited as the restaurant shares parking with another restaurant and a circle k.

It is funny we came here from Lexington North Carolina home of BBQ for North Carolina. We were totally lost here at the lingo the girl at the register used. We asked her if they had red slaw it flew totally over her head. We also asked about vinegar-based BBQ. They did have something like it but she did not have knowledge of it totally. Overall not bad but totally different from what I expected. The portions are not that great here. They definitely need to eat in the Carolinas at Speedy lohr's number 8 in Lexington. And go to Randy's right off of 64. They would definitely learn how to fill the plates. Wife got a sandwich that was so small we couldn't believe it. It is just really sad because this place could be a winner. Be a little less skimpy on regular plates. And at least fill the bun up with barbecue to make it a real sandwich . Make your lingo a little bit more simple at the cash register. Loose meat and chop meat we're very similar here go with the one that's cheaper. Because they are about the exact same thing. The Carolina's as we call it pulled and chopped and sliced. May want to offer people to do their own sauce here. Make the barbecue available for customers to place their own sauce on the BBQ. This is not too bad a place but nothing like good Ole Carolina barbecue places. But most of their customer base seem to be from up North. So maybe this place is Northern style BBQ. Got good traffic here and has been here a while because I went here when I was young. And now I'm a lot older. I liked it better when I was younger I remember they had great collard greens. Wasn't even offered on the menu now. Remember they used to pile it on the plates a little bit more. But like I said overall it's a clean place and the food not so bad. Just may want to order your barbecue dry and put your own sauce on it. And also if you want a good size plate here you need to upsize to the large. The regular is a regular. Not a very big choice of vegetables here. Beverages were all good. Come visit Lexington North Carolina barbecue places you will be totally satisfied. We have a BBQ festival every year downtown one of the biggest celebrations of pork in...

Got a pulled pork sandwich with slaw. Was looking specifically for Eastern Style BBQ with vinegar and red pepper flake barbecue sauce which they didn't have. The 4 Star is only because I was really looking for that kind of tangy orangish sauce with the red pepper flakes in it and they didn't have it. Something they had that said vinegar on it was something different. Darker. But not every barbecue place has that. They did have something with vinegar which was a little on the sweet side But it wasn't a traditional tangy Eastern Carolina style barbecue vinegar based sauce. They also had other sauces available that you could put in containers and take as a side for whatever you buy. My suggestion to them is that they add a traditional Eastern style barbecue vinegar based sauce to the rest of the sources. It's orangish in color with red pepper flakes in it, slight bit of sugar added but not sweet. It's simple enough to make and there will be people who will want to find that sauce and sometimes it makes all the difference. Barbecue pork sandwich was not bad. I was just looking for it with a little more of everything in it. Like I like little bits of fat and whole hog This was more just meat. But not bad though. And everybody's requirements aren't mine. There was also a lot more on the menu that we didn't get to try that looked really good. Brisket sandwich was good. Did get some of their mustard barbecue sauce on the side for the brisket and that was excellent!! Staff was so nice and helpful. We were trying to find a liquor store and they told us exactly where to go gave us options depending on what we were looking for and the guy at the counter even wrote it down for me. Really sweet friendly staff. I suggest you go and...

I don't know where to begin... From the second I pulled up in the parking lot it was not what I was hoping to see. Being it was my family's last night in Myrtle for vacation I was expecting a sit down restaurant with a wait staff and a table big enough to accommodate 12 or so of us but It truly is a hole in the wall BBQ joint. Since my cousin's didn't seem to balk upon walking in I thought, "If they don't mind then I won't be a snob about it and since there were several people already eating and a line forming behind our party I thought "there might be something to this place" The menu was reminiscent of the menu in the movie "My Cousin Vinny" Where it consisted of 3 options. "Breakfast" "Lunch" and "Dinner" It lacks options I would come to expect of any legitimate BBQ pitt. This is a one trick pony. Chopped pork is all that is on the menu that I would expect to see at a BBQ place. Albeit it is very good and I enjoyed my Jumbo Sandwich. I was just floored by the lack of options. No BBQ Chicken, No BBQ Turkey, No BBQ Beef ribs, No Brisket, No Ice, Just BBQ Pork. If you want a good Chopped Pork sandwich for lunch and don't mind cleaning your own table before you sit down then this place is great! I would not recommend coming here though with any more than...
