Public Beach Access — Attraction in Nags Head

Long trip to Beach but definitely worth it. We were the only people there. Whole point of our trip was to spread my Father's ashes.

OBX was his favorite place in the world and his last wish. I hate it took over 4 years but the people that truly loved you were there and I finally have closure. And it being during Father's day weekend made it even better. I will always remember you taken me there the first time and I'm so glad I got to take you for your last. You are free and we found the most beautiful place to let all those feelings go. Love ya Pops!! OBX Forever.

trashy area with plastic bags everywhere..most of it coming from turned over residential garbage cans blown over by the wind..city of nags head does a poor job with trash management because the city provided garbage cans and recycle cans do not having latching tops due to their mechanized system of pick up...the city of nags head needs to find a better way to manage the public waste...our beaches are being TRASHED by the town not by...

Beautiful beach! We were lucky to just search for this one before parking somewhere else. It had a parking for around 10-12 vehicles. It was clean, had a lot of shells. Also had a public restroom with a tap outside. If you love the sight and sound of ocean waves crashing, this is the perfect place for...
