Canoe Beach — Attraction in Nahant

Only resident permit parking. I can see why the entire town is no parking. They don't want it to get overrun in the summer time...I guess. They must not need the dollars from tourists! The only work around I have found is park in front of the US Post office, that is signed 30min but you can get away with longer at your own risk. Rocky Beach results in a very unpleasant time trying to get to the water. Once you're in its very pleasant. Your surroundings really bring a sense of calm. Unfortunately its permit parking only so you'll either have to have that permit or come via public transportation/ride sharing service like Lyft or Uber. Thats why I'm giving this beach a 1 star.
