First thing to mention: There is no public parking here, which seems to be a theme in Nahant. Parking aside, Lodge Park is a beautiful park with a short walking/biking loop. The views here are stunning, and the rocky shoreline makes for some amazing pictures. Proper footwear is recommended if you intend to walk out onto the rocks (sandals/flips are not a good idea here). There are several old WWII bunkers and lookout towers near this park - you can't explore them, but they make for interesting pics and give you a...

Don't go here the locals are nuts. There is absolutely nowhere to legally park. When my fiance and I were there every local was glaring at us. I had one person in front of me when I was driving in pull over and get behind me and follow me around. We got out at a scenic overlook and some crazy lady came over and watched us until we got in our car and left. The locals are absolutely nuts and will...

It’s a beautiful, small park with a nice view of the ocean and the Nahant bay. It’s somewhat rocky and although there are some obstruction for the trees and some construction, but you will have a nice sunset view from the top of the park. Parking is little tricky, you have to park in the permit parking and walk to the park uphill on the right side after you enter the restricted area. It’s...

No public parking means way fewer people. You can ride your bike here from beach parking or from the Lynn commuter rail station. I understand why Nahant restricts parking -- it doesn't want the place to become overrun with visitors. I spent about 45 min in the park on a nice Sunday afternoon and only saw 2 other people.
