They have a free shuttle that picks up at the corner of chestnut and federal on weekends. The driver is a very nice older guy. Check their website for hours. (The panel van is on chestnut itself next to the Nantucket information bureau, which also has bathrooms on the backside of it.)

When you get there, they card you and wristband you. The taproom is two lefts after getting through the entrance. Lots of lagers and ipas, which makes sense since they're probably most busy in the summer. The left 8 are their classics, and the right 8 are seasonal/experimental. I flighted all 16 over the course of 4 flightboards. It's about $4/taster, which is NYC taproom prices. Beer was just okay, but if you're here with a ton of friends and there for some live music, who cares I suppose. Their classic beers are easy to find around the island, so coming here to get some isn't a must IMHO.

They have 3-4 food trucks that have various food. I tried some veggie dumplings, but was unfortunately underwhelmed and decided to save my stomach for dinner.

Shaker-style Pint glasses are $12 and stickers are $3 from the gift shop. Kinda steep, but its Nantucket and they know their typical audience wont blink.

Overall, the ambiance is fine, BYOFriends, and know that the beer doesn't hold a candle to...

We planned to visit Cisco Brewers as part of our day trip to Nantucket. We planned to use the offered shuttle service from the downtown area. We got there about 10 minutes early, however the shuttle was a few minutes late (doesn’t start until noon), and by that point there were so many people waiting it was mass hysteria to get on the shuttle, but it only takes 11 people at a time. Ended up just Ubering there with our party for about $35. The brewery itself was fun and the food from the food trucks was delicious. They offered a wide variety of drinks from beer to cocktails. It was difficult to get a table, but we eventually did. We planned to use the shuttle on the way back figuring that would be easier, but again no organized line of any sort to get on the shuttle. I was bullied by another visitor who stated I got there after her so her party of “11” was to get on first. I just ended up Ubering again back to the downtown area… the Brewery either needs to stop offering the shuttle service or do it in a more organized fashion. This was a Tuesday afternoon on a day it was pouring rain outside so I can only imagine what the situation is like on an actual nice weather day. Either way, we won’t be back to this brewery or likely this island again with the way these...

Cisco Brewers is a totally awesome place to spend your afternoon. Drinks for everyone from beer to mixed drinks to wine. Amazing outdoor space.

But a few things really bring the experience down. They seem to have no cap on quantity of people they let in, but don’t have nearly enough tables to seat everyone. So that sucks because then you’re standing around, trying to eat or drink with nowhere to do so.

They have the space to add more tables but just seem oblivious to the problem. Been like this for years.

The music is too loud. Hard to talk to your friends and family when they just turn the music up to concert volumes. And I’m not even talking about the live music.

Finally, why so many kids and families?!?? At least give them their own section so unruly 5 year olds running around with little supervision don’t just keep disrupting their fellow patrons. Again, Cisco has the space to do all these things but just seem like they don’t care.

We’re a captive audience and they know it, so I doubt anything will ever change. Zero incentive to make the experience better for all...
