We were there yesterday,This winery was booked by my hubby as he had gone there 2 years back and was very happy with his experience. But this time , we were disappointed, overall the winery has very trendy young vibes they have used lots of yellows and greens on their interior , the overall crowds we noticed there were young . We had the first wine tasting at 11 am , we reached there 10 mins earlier but they were just running behind their schedule. Our server , I think her name was Ashley , green eyed short girl , gave us welcome drinks and asked us to wait , then after 10 mins she invited us to our table which was on the sidewalk, just outside their front desk. We requested her to give us a table with the umbrella in the middle of their patio but she declined it to us, stating that it was for 6 people , while we were just 4, we were the only guests at that moment. We agreed and sat at our assigned table but to our surprise, she gave that table to 3 girls just 20 mins later . There were smaller tables too available at that point but she gave that special treatment to that party of 3. We were having 4 wine tastings with a cheese board , as our small portion of bread got over, we requested the server to give us more bread but she said that unfortunately the bread isn’t coming out of oven anytime sooner .But within 10 mins we saw the other server taking the cheese board with the bread for another table, the bread was same in size as us but the other table had just 2 people compared to us 4. We wouldn’t have refused to pay if they had charged us extra for the second portion of bread but refusing to serve us that 3-4$ bread was very mean . Then in the middle of the wine tasting, she handed over our table to another server and told us that she has to attend other guests then she went to serve the table with party of 3 which we had requested for . Have been to numerous wine tastings but never ever the server was changed during the whole process. We couldn’t believe this server’s meanness. Our experience was really disappointing and we don’t wish to go back there , where they discriminate their own guests . Would never recommend this winery to anyone because of the way we...

Wine was alright, not life changing, but the service was. Our host was Gigi and man, she made things so uncomfortable that we still make jokes about it till this day.
When she came she did her introduction and then asked what type of wines we’d like to taste. I had mentioned my favorite picks,
“Skin Contact wine and Bugey Cerdon”
then she looked at me said, “Are you trying to show off to your friends? Nice try” in an unnecessary snarky tone.
Weird but whatever, let’s move past it. She comes back and the first thing she says, directly to me,
“Since you know such much about wines, could you explain to everyone how Skin Contact Wine is made?“ without breaking eye contact along with a smile filled with contempt. Thank god I knew the process. She seemed disappointed that I did. Showing no hint of excitement for knowing she says,
“Surprised you knew”
and dismiss the interaction and explains the wine.
She created this weird feeling from the jump and ruined the mood of my friends and I. It felt off the rest the time we were there, bummer.
The last thing you want when you go wine tasting is a hostess who can’t share their love for wine with anyone. Instead, embarrassing whoever “thinks” they know.
We wanted to taste new wine but instead, we got a hostess who treated people with inferiority when they showed any knowledge of the craft. A sad experience that costed $565...

A truly remarkable experience. Modern while embracing tradition. Perfectly doting. Effortlessly hip. Flawlessly executed.
Like a good surf spot, you want to keep it a secret, but I find myself wanting to tell everyone I encounter about our time with Ashes & Diamonds.
Chef Ethan Speizer prepared an array of wonderful dishes, using wood, Japanese charcoal, and masterful skill. The seasonal ingredients were deliciously prepared, stealthily served, and perfectly timed.
Steve Nagy facilitated a great tasting, tour, and wine service throughout the afternoon. This wine is great and this winery will change the valley in such a beneficial way, from the wine making process to the overarching objective “Making wines we want to drink”…I encourage you to be a part of this movement.
The entire afternoon was Orchestrated by Dane Gaffney, VP of Operations. In short order, he spun up and experience for 16 of us in just a few days. Assisting with transportation, meeting us at the coach, and ensuring every aspect of the afternoon left us in awe. Concierge to the next level.
So, unlike the surf spot…I encourage you to experience A&D, with friends, family, colleagues and clients. I can’t wait to...
