The reward is getting to the top and the views on the backside as well as over the valley. Went on first day of spring and flowers were spectacular among the burnt trees, - mother nature has been very forgiving on this ridge.
The climb is challenging, rocky, slippery, and requires some clambering so you're not really getting to take in the views on the way up because you really need to watch your step and wear good hiking shoes.
