Great place - for walks, picnics, outdoor activities, cycling, jogging. the nature of this place is carefully preserved. it's great that there are natural paths in the forest. but parents need to be careful, as the river slope is very steep and not fenced, the child may fall. Also, if your dog is very active and reacts to wild animals, then be careful - there are a huge number of squirrels and chipmunks. my dogs would be crazy about wanting to catch them))) a very picturesque river where you can swim in a canoe. Unfortunately, I could not get to the local museum, as it closes at 5 pm. admission is free and there is a private parking, but small, so many visitors are waiting...
Read moreGreat place for kids or adults! Lots of easy to read signs explaining the history and local flora. If you hike, skate or ride bike, the pathways are easy to follow and kept clear of debris. Saw plenty of people enjoying the Frisbee disk golf course and some others launching a canoe from the landing. Also have plenty of parking.
If you have kids, they will love the outsude playground and the interactive displays inside the nature center building. Plus they have/offer small outside group activities for the children.
