This is a beautiful park that I could walk/bike/run everyday. It's huge and there are multiple trails that go off in every direction.

There is a parking lot off of Knoch Knolls Road next to the Nature Center and another at the top near the baseball diamonds/tennis courts off of Weber Road. The trails connect to the community with other trails and pathways too, leading to 95th Street, Whalen Lake, and the Dupage Riverwalk.

The elevation of the trails isn't flat, both up and down. It's a really good way to get some cardio work. The trails are well marked and maintained.

Lots of trees, bushes and wildflowers. The wildlife I have seen include many deer, birds, squirrels, bugs, and also an occasional coyote & even a small snake.

Sometimes it can get crowded especially on weekends. Some groups chat and carry large coffee mugs while others hike solo. There are restrooms at the Nature Center that open from both the inside and the outside. Very clean.

This is a great outdoor space to get some exercise...

We go walking and biking here all the time. I've posted a million pictures to google maps of this park, including fall and winter photographs. There are paved bike/walk trails and unpaved walking trails. There is plenty of parking here, but it's not that far to bike as we often do. The park has a skate hockey rink, a couple of basketball courts, a couple of baseball fields AND a great forest to explore, which is what we do. There is a walking trail entrance about 20 feet along the bike trail from the parking lot near Royce Rd that is a great start to a 3 mile round trip walk. The walk is mostly in the shade of trees. There's the DuPage river to the north and west and south. This area is almost an island as the river is on 3 sides. The elevation gain is not too bad. The paved paths can be used by wheelchairs. This is just an all around great place for everyone to experience. It's pretty cool that a place as forested as this is so...

Knok Knolls Park is a delightful recreational area. Having recently visited the park, I can confidently say that it offers a wonderful outdoor experience for individuals and families alike.

One of the most impressive aspects of Knok Knolls Park is its stunning natural beauty. The park boasts expansive green spaces, well-manicured lawns, and a diverse range of trees and plants. Walking along the park's winding trails, I found myself immersed in a tranquil environment, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The park's amenities are also worth mentioning. Knok Knolls Park provides a range of facilities that cater to various interests and age groups. The playground area is well-designed and offers a safe and enjoyable space for children to play. Families can also take advantage of the picnic areas, complete with tables and grills, which are perfect for gathering with loved ones and enjoying a meal in the...

Looking for something fun and free to do with the kids? Knoch Knolls Nature Center in Naperville is a great spot to check out. It’s tucked away in the suburbs of Chicago and perfect for a casual family outing. Inside, there’s a small but fun area with live animals like snakes and turtles, interactive exhibits, and hands-on toys that teach kids about nature. It’s educational without feeling like school—and totally free to explore. Outside, you’ll find scenic walking trails, a peaceful pond, and a playground where kids can run around and play. It’s a great mix of learning and outdoor fun, all in one spot. #napervillekids #freefamilyfun #chicagowithkids #knochknolls #napervillemoms #suburbanchicago #familydayout #thingstodowithkids #freeforkids #chicagosuburbs #freechicagoactivities #freekidactivities #chicagoland

Migrating from Florida had me thinking—I’m leaving behind Abundance of Nature parks waterfront parks & trails, but Naperville proved me wrong. I’m so glad to be able to locate multiple parks in here for the city being a Park District, it’s highly likely I’ll stay close to mother nature. Today, I stumbled upon Knoch Knolls Nature Center/Park, a perfectly warm day for a visit to a place such as this. It’s a gigantic public setting offering— Multiple Trails, Picnic areas; some include fire pit & other rest areas, Kayaking, Playground for kids alongside engaging exhibits, keeping them busy for hours. My kiddo simply didn’t wanna return home. Need I say more? P.S— Ample Parking Spots, Accessible Parking available too! I found this park to be pretty Accessible for ECV & Strollers. #Nature #Park
