The Natchez trace Parkway is a delight to travel through. I have had the opportunity to drive the entire length and was not disappointed in taking the trip. I camped in one portion for a few days, and took my time as I visited stop along the way. The nice thing about Natchez trace is that you can jump on board different parts of it when you have time if you’re in the area, or make a trip of the entire length of the parkway over a few days to really enjoy it. Read moreThe views of the Mississippi River are fantastic from the Natchez Trail. I walked with my dog on the trail during a visit to Natchez. The Trail is paved and runs on the bluff overlooking the river. Regular boat traffic, including small cruise ships, are seen almost every daylight hour.
