Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Natchez

The gentlemen on the speaker was very nice and patient with my family. Three of us 4 (myself included) are picky eaters and wanted to go slow to make sure we got the correct order. However, the young woman who brought us our food was snarky and impatient. I was grabbing things slowly, double checking to see if it matched what she ordered and she stomped her foot a d said " Your next item Maam." And could see me struggling to hold the three items she already forced on me and the second she handed me the last cup she walked away before even letting it go and I nearly dropped it. Thankfully I did not. The order was 80% correct, and what they got wrong was probably due to it being rush hour and they not paying attention. However, thay being said, I didn't order a chicken fried steak sandwich. That's what I got and it was tough; fried for way too long. Despite that, it tasted good so I persevered. My father, however, ordered fries with hisnsandwhich and ordered only ketchup, mayo, and lettuce on his sandwich. He got tattertots and the 'full house's. Over sites, but it bittered...

I travel a fair amount and usually avoid name brand burger joints, for several reasons. Service is often slow, food is almost always luke warm, and the sandwiches generally lack flavor. I made my first visit to Sonic in Natchez Mississippi and was very very surprised. Ordering was a breeze at their outdoor drive-ins, service was excellent, and the single burger that I had ordered came out piping hot. It was delicious. This NEVER happens at the other places. Came here yesterday and ordered a medium shake, a burger and some pickle fries. Waited for 30 minutes and left. 4 cars in the lot. Half of the order kiosks have a BSOD or are completely off. Tried to give another chance today and got kids shake instead of the one ordered and a burger that couldn’t feed a child midget. Needs a new cook and food handlers ASAP. The orders/servers/people are nice, I think they know they’re sold short by bad management and a bad cook. I’m not the type to leave reviews. Get them kiosks fixed, find a new cook.
