Love this lake, will DEFINITELY return! Big lake with sandy beaches, and nice gradual grade into the water so my kids could wade in and I didn't have to be afraid of them dropping off a ledge. Water was clean and refreshing and the people were polite. We went on July 4th and it was PACKED! We still found a spot big enough for our family and the other family we were visiting. End of September 2021 - Nice quiet park. Clean and well maintained. Lake is down approx. 10+ feet. Walking on beach you will find a few plastic bottles, bags, broken glass and broken plastic. We did not fish so no opinion on that but looks like a very nice fishery. We would consider visiting this park again in the future but no longer than 3 days as this will provide ample time to visit other attractions...

Stopped while passing through the Scottsbluff area, I had heard about it and thought I would stop. The lake and park area is very nice, the lady working in the main office told me of the history of the light house and the history of the surrounding area. Amazing story! Well worth a stop if in the area. Will be headed back to do some camping and explore...
