Coolidge Family Farm — Attraction in New Gloucester

Getting married at Coolidge Family Farm was absolutely magical! Our rainy September wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. Selecting this venue had everything we needed. The property is beautiful, the barn is gorgeous and charming, onsite accommodations were extremely helpful, and having Misty Coolidge as our Coordinator made the day a huge success! We were originally going to be married in the wooded sanctuary on property. Mother Nature, however, had other plans for us that day and we moved the ceremony into the barn. With ceremony and reception in the barn and having Cocktail Hour under a tent, that we rented last minute, made the day go beyond expectations. We even thought it was better getting married in the barn! We were able to rent lights and silks from a vendor which created a beautiful atmosphere. For sound, the acoustics were amazing, especially when we rap battled our vows. :) We stood right in front of the open barn door, which gave us the beautiful background of trees & greenery! Having to shift plans to an indoor ceremony, still left us feeling in touch with nature with those barn doors wide open. On top of that, from where we stood in the barn, we had friends and family watching from both downstairs AND up above us in the loft. It was unbelievably cozy, and every time we looked around, we were literally surrounded by our loved ones. It was also a reminder as to why we picked a venue with a great back up plan! We ended up having about 100 guests, which was a very comfortable number to have in the barn.

Misty is great at what she does and really set us up for success on our special day! Keep in mind, if you are looking for a coordinator to help you with every step of the planning process and need constant communication, Misty can help along the way but she of course stays busy with all of the other weddings she’s involved. Therefore, communication will come in waves but nevertheless, she will keep in touch when she can.

Went to a wedding here. Long trip from Boston LOL but well worth it. Beautiful Farm, I absolutely loved all the little sections that you could explore and relax in. The parking is difficult as it is across a highway and down the street a bit, but you can drop people off and proceed. The inside part where the dancing was held is so pretty, and makes a memorable bunch of photos and videos!! The wedding was absolutely beautiful, but I did wonder what would have happened if it had rained?( I'm not "reviewing" the wedding at all, I absolutely enjoyed myself and it is a wonderful place to be married.!!) The only issue would be handicapped accessibility. The ground is uneven in some locations, but the inside part of the venue and the quaint driveway leading to it could be a good place for elderly relatives and the mobility impaired. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and kind. There are these little cottages that they have to rent out, a great place for the mother of the bride, groom, or just relatives that want a place to rest. I could have poked around for another couple of hours and then very happy doing it! Little antique sofas and chairs dotting the farm, along with a really cool antique truck, a little barn with a beautiful little saying on it, Definitely the most unusual, and special venue...

My Husband and I got married at Coolidge Family Farm on 7/15/23 and choosing this location as our wedding venue was the absolute best decision!! Not only is the property absolutely charming and beautiful, it gives you the possibility of hosting family/friends on the property as well, which is what we did, and it was amazing! Misty, who is the property owner, operator and a wedding coordinator is the cherry on top! She has been in the wedding industry for so many years and has a fabulous eye and taste for all things bridal! She was our wedding coordinator leading up to the day and she made sure that we had all of our details T’s crossed and I’s dotted, even from out of state (we planned our wedding from Tampa, FL). She offers so many beautiful details to go along with your decor like wedding china, rugs, and furniture. Her barn is absolutely charming and rustic, literally everything we were looking for. The price point was also amazing, and fit perfectly in our budget. We highly recommend Coolidge Family Farm as a wedding venue, reception venue, and we love Misty and would recommend her coordination...
