At first glance, a neighborhood park with a few cottages, a field, and a large dirt parking lot. The cottages were for the Girl Scouts based on the sign I saw on them. I was here for the playground so I walked across the field to the back and found it. I didn't realize there were parking in the back lot and closer to the playground. The fenced in playground was big and had plenty of swings and space for my toddler to run around. The weather was perfect (55 degrees in February) so there were a few other people there. There was snow on the ground in certain parts, so it was very muddy/slippery in some spots. A few of the playscapes were taped off with caution tape; I'm assuming they were broken. This park is on 200 acres of land and has many events.

There is a 50 acre lake area. The spring fed lake is called West Hill Lake; people can swim, fish, and boat in it. In the summer, you will need to buy a beach pass. They also have tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, and basketball courts. Nearby and across the street, you can find the Franklin P. Kearney Conservative Trail. Overall, a great spot to get some fresh air and exercise. Hopefully they will fix the broken playscapes and it will be less muddy when it gets...

It's clean and as you can see in the picture, beautiful. Good place for young children as there is ample shallow water for playing. We returned in the evening with friends and family, had dinner together as we watched the beautiful sunset dramatically change from one scene to another. You can drive right down to the beach during the day, but be sure to drive your car to the upper lot before they close the upper gate if your planning on staying after hours. Approx 7min walk. There are portable restrooms set out of the way up a short path. Lifeguards were attentive to the swimmers and will correct improper behavior for...

Super nice, fenced in, practically brand new, big playground with great stuff for the kids to play on. They had a blast. There's a small skate park, ball field, and beach access to a lake, as well. This is a town lake, not a state park, so a town permit is required, unfortunately, which is kind of expensive. On the other hand, the actual beach area is small, so the fee would keep it from being overcrowded. Overall, a very nice park with an excellent playground for the kids to wear themselves out in. Will definitely...

This very large 200 acre park includes an on-site youth overnight summer camp, lake with lakeside activities, dog park, walking trails, multiple playgrounds for small and older kids, along with many ball playing fields and basketball courts. The park also has a large permanent structure called the Berkshire building that can be rented out for community activities. Dirt and gravel parking lots are along the main entrances to the different areas of Brodie park.

This is gotta be the most beautiful, cleanest fun park.I've ever been to in new hartford, are the surrounding towns. They have the biggest playground I've seen in the area and the cleanest beach. The place is dog, friendly dogs must be on leashes. They cannot do it go on the beach directly. You'll want to bring poop bags because you will be responsible for picking up after your dog. There's a small little snack shack and tons of lifeguards

Beautiful park area with a beach. The lake is clean and refreshing. If you don't have a beach pass, there is a bit of a walk down from the outer parking lot but it's worth it. There are restrooms available. The park has a playground and a bunch of athletic facilities. The boat launch is at a separate entrance. The picnic tables are first come first served. The park has events such as a summer concert series as well.
