Decently large park. Much open area for large groups and shaded areas with many pine and hardwoods. Has a pavilion with restrooms, playground, athletic fields (soccer and ball diamond). Has disc golf course and exceptional walking trail although not too many and a historic stadium where high school games were played at.
Only big complaint about it is that being New London it's low-land which means it is prone to floods easily and a harbor for many insects.
