Terrific inner-suburban park located among typically well-maintained homes in a quiet Wilmette/Kenilworth neighborhood. Nicely laid out and maintained. The planners managed to keep most of the gorgeous trees but created scattered nice open spots & green little alcoves in, among and alongside the winding pathways, benches and plantings.
A gazebo completes the picturesque layout and summer brings about free concerts that we neighbors walk or ride bikes to. You can hear the music on Sundays throughout our adjacent neighborhood. The park was supported by tax referendum which we residents happily paid for and accepted in lieu of the typical developer's giant proposed housing nightmare.
