Cedar Grove Beach — Attraction in New York

If you have come to have a nice time and relax and park your car in the NY parks parking lot, be careful as your car will be locked and left overnight. Because there are no clearly visible working hours, hang peppers that cannot be noticed. And an employee who works will not tell you that he will lock the gate in half an hour and you will be left without your vehicles. I arrived for half an hour, there were almost no cars there, and no one told me that the parking lot closes in 30 minutes. I think it is great that this beach is here because it usually isn’t very crowded even in the summer (except times like July 4th). The trail and boardwalk next to it is really beautiful and I like to walk my dog on the trail. Sometimes I collect shells and stones from the beach. The problem is there is garbage and all sorts of pollution which is an eye-sore, bad for ocean wildlife, and kind of gross to step in! It’s my neighborhood beach, quiet, clean bathrooms are kept very nicely. Lifeguards are on point. As far as swimming, I prefer the ocean not bay water..Dip to cool off maybe. Swimming? I prefer off the island completely. I go to Far Rockaway or Jersey shore. I do like the fact there’s less kids peacetime.. no offense to parents with little children.
