Ok, for all the bad reviews you have read from past years, toss them out. Gateway Marina NOW Moonbeam Gateway is a whole new experience. Since Moonbeam has taken over the past few month have been wonderful. They are cleaning up all the garbage, clearing out the overgrown weeds, replacing the electric (Thank God) repairing the docks, removing old pilings, etc. There is so much they have to do but I see their staff constantly working even until dark. We have been there 15 years and were considering leaving because nothing was being taken care of and it became an embarrassment to bring quest to the boat. I am so excited about the new management and improvements. Also, a Hugh difference is how nice the entire staff is. Our issues no longer fall on deaf ears. My favorite is “Sergey,” he is so polite, considerate, respectful and takes care of any concerns. We never had the positive attention in the past so this is so refreshing. I have no problem being patient while they rebuild this marina. There is no doubt it is one of the most desired location in our area. I have always loved the location and now I can believe we will have this marina for years to come. I’m very PLEASED! Thank you to all at Moonbeam.

Read moreNote all the abandoned boats in this yard from folks who've walked away rather than pay up on yard fees. I walked from purchasing a boat stored at Moonbeam Gateway merely because of this Marina's management. Mgr Mark would not allow any pre-commissioning boat work to be done on land (merely asked about changing filters & batteries). No rates are published as these guys price gouge. Mgr Mark said it was $10 per ft per day (rip-off given its April not July 4th) upon tying up a newly launched boat from his yard...and Launching fee was $18 per ft (ok price). So merely to launch a 35 foot boat at this marina was quoted as a convenient $1k (35ft x($18+$10))...but with his caveats / hinting about extras...got the feeling the actual bill would have been twice that. His suggestion was to arrange a tow if the boat didn't start right up rather than pay $350 each day it took to get boat safely going. I am used to Launch fees being built into winter-storage cost & Marina understanding one doesn't just motor away after dipping. Felt like I was dealing with the...
Read moreHad my boat there for about two years, never dealt with the mechanical services so I can say anything about that. I do all my own work, but I had Vinnie (great guy) do some work up the mast. In all, very beautiful marina, and Ive had no problems with the staff. Remember, its a business so they have to make money too. Debbie is really nice and professional. In all I would say the price is not bad for the location (so close to the inlet) and the docks are in good shape. No problems with the electricity. Also, if you've been there for more than a year (winter and summer season) you get breaks on the service charges. They also have a caddy service, which will take you to your boat for a small tip!. It would be nice if they had a better...
