This library is located on a main strip with access to public transportation. The building is clean, well organized and the librarian is so helpful. Without a doubt, this library has one of the best sewing & quilting programs. The instructor is awesome and the completed projects are spectacular.

This library is so beautiful and expansive. The quilt collections are so beautiful. The history and narratives each one uniquely tells is so inspiring. Large and amazing teen section, in addition to a large meeting room available to rent out. A gem hidden in plain sight!!!

Beautiful facility and a very polite staff. The Teen Section downstairs is amazing and even has a recording studio.

Title Book Called: "Nobody Know's Who I Really Am...."

Based On True Comment Review that will shock you about this. When I Volunteer in this Library I though it was for the better however most dreams dont come true for those who dont know me that i have suffer through alot.... without any care.

Don't go to this library I used to volunteer there however I really really dont apperciate the librarians behavior. during the solor eclipse the librarians yelled at me cause I told the librarians that kids and adults should were saftey glasses for the solor eclipse... this was on April 8th 2024 on Monday during School Hours.

Here's the example of why: If the person dont wear the saftey glasses then the person's "RENTAL EYES" thats under neath inside the gland of there eyes, it will start to bleed out, inside out. imagine not wear something to protect there eyes.

However the librarians argue with me and said only adults can were them. "Ms. Horthorn aka Andrea Horthorn" was the one who yelled at me and then the 2nd Librarian name "Tejes" yelled at me as well, told me to shut my mouth. I really hate them which I wish there was justice however there isnt because many people I've encounter dont pretty much care for me only for themselves called Apathy. as if i just do the work as if i have no meaning in life....

Ms. Horthorn was very rude and disrepectful to yelled at me all because I told the truth and she got mad when I reply this comment: "Wheres the intel for this." and she yelled at me and thats when I know she was lying, she was speed walking and told most of the female staffs in the librarian's and they were acting as if im the enemy because I'm Male an All and thats just very gender discrimitate of them to do. one of the librarians said in quote: nodding there heads yes and reply this: yeah thats right only adult were able to wear them.

Everyone just look at me as if I'm the enemie however not the kids that I was helping them. the kids did felt bad for me and i always support there safety

The Most shocking part is this.... I went to do my own investigation and I went to briarwood library and the queens library in jamaica. The Librarians over there told me the opposite that they said in quote: That's not true.... we've just literally sold out to kids and adults. I was just too stunned to speak... and was emotionally upset when I got home

I really hate them, the security guard and the staffs. The librarians dont care about children saftey cause its every hu(man) for themselves.

the most irratate part is that I....did everything for them.... here are the list I did.

Volunteering of: Helping Children with Homework Helping the Elderlies with computer problems Lifting up Boxes to go downstairs to the Teen Center Room Setting Up Kahoot Art Program for Children Helping People with Printing Problems The Librarians never help people who had problem with customer service that isnt part of the librarian situation however I was able to manage to help them because i felt bad which they need all the help that they needed

I Make Sure that the Newspaper date is in order I remember that Ms. Horthorn showed me how to do it and told me that to make sure the Newpaper date that is today is in front while the dates in order from yesterdays date goes behind in order. I told her thank you for helping me and Ms.Horthorn has the Nerved ofTelling Me in quote: "Oh No....Thank YOOUU". that means I'm her Pawn. this is disgusting because why many people of adults of color people have treat young adults and kids of color this way. why behave this way to teach us to become mean and bitter in your old age who wanted to help people to carry that weight to lift tohelpsomeone so they wont suffer. no kindness?

I remember the security guard discriminating young adults age who were in there 20's.... telling them that they dont sit here because this is the adults section however im in there 20's and.... that makes me feel uncomforable while i have to volunteer. many people never defend me after that i...

i only give this library A star at because they have more computers now and that work good and I dont have to wait long to get one as i have before. I remember and had a understanding the libraries are supposed to be a quiet place where children can do homework read books to research online or surf the net for recreation purposes. The cambria Heights location is a ABSOLUTE zoo. I heard that many schools have cut out funding after school programs but the library is NOT supposed to sound like Im at the park with kids all over knocking over chairs running as they would at a playground. But I guess its not an issue to the employees there. But as a library goer im DISGUSTED & will say something to one of the workers if i have to get there and leave because theres no adult to tame these out of control...

The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Every time I come in, I'm greeted warmly and asked if I need any help. The library has a wide array of books to choose from, they stock up well and everything is great. The computers are available during hours and the teens section is open from Mon-Fri. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants some quiet to study, requires assistance with anything, is looking to speak to someone or seeks guidance or just wants to enjoy a good book. I love it here, and it is by far one of my favorite Queens Library branches unlike the library at Queens Village, (the staff there are beyond rude and they are such a nightmare to deal with). However, at Cambria Heights, the library feels like a...
