Anacréon Winery — Attraction in Newberg

We had our first visit to this winery a few weeks ago for their Epicure Experience. We had enjoyed thoughtful food pairings from Caballeros catering at a previous wine event and were excited to see they were a part of this. The owners of Anacréon welcomed us into their home and introduced us to their wonderful lineup of wines alongside perfectly paired bites with each. Kip and Danell have a beautiful home and gardens and the experience was truly our own. We knew we had found a hidden gem that was serving up their wines in a different way. As now members, we just experienced our first pick up party, which was also delightful with delicious wine and food pairings. We are looking forward to their new tasting room, and attending some of their other fun upcoming events. I would highly recommend the Epicure Experience to anybody who is looking for a unique and memorable wine tasting experience just for your own...

This should be easy to write, but words can barely do this place justice. The house, location and views were incredible...we were in awe as we were making our way up the hill. Danell and Kipp were so welcoming, and their home feels nothing short of warm and exclusive. We participated in the Epicure Experience and it was worth every. single. penny. The dishes were amazing and paired so well with the wine; our compliments to Chef Erick Caballero. The stories, from Danell and Kipp, regarding the wine and the wine names were the icing on the cake...so much fun! I'm pretty sure we all left being wine club...

We traveled to the Willamette valley to celebrate our 20th anniversary and the Allison Inn and Spa recommended Anacreon. We did the epicurean food and wine pairing under the pergola outdoors and to say we enjoyed ourselves is an understatement. Every dish was artistically plated and each wine pairing was spot on. Kip hosted us and his easy-going demeanor, knowledge of wine of the Willamette valley, and sharing the story of how he and his wife came to realize their dream of owning a winery made for a fantastic conversation. We joined the wine club and look forward to our first shipment....
