Nicolas Jay is quite simply the best tasting experience for the serious wine aficionado in the Willamette Valley; expertly guided by Kevin, who has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the terroir and is passionate to share his knowledge of the wine making process and the wines. He also had samples of soil from the various vineyards to explain the differences between the profiles. The tasting room resembles a kitchen and so you are made to feel at home and the environment is relaxed. A ‘young’ Oregon winery that delivers a sophisticated wine that is allowed to speak for itself. But a serious winery with a light touch in wine making and in the presentation, which was the most thorough of the eight we attended and the most fun! One of the groups total favorites for the whole experience. We...

In fact, when I had a bottle not taste quite right upon opening it at home (this can happen anywhere), Hannah drove to me a replacement bottle. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you...
