Mildred the Bear Wildlife Habitats — Attraction in Newland

This place was adorable, the animals were all out except for the cougars, We even got to see a bear fresh out of hibernation. The otter was swimming about and the eagle was flying around. It was chilly, even on a 70 degree day, so bring a hoodie in case! There are hand railings to use for the walking paths as well. It was really awesome that they do talks on all the animals often and I all the cages it tells you what time the next talk is the animals look well taken care of and nice and chunky LOL but playful. Have a nice little museum in there too which was really cool I didn't expect it but I was happily excited to get to explore! Good fun for all ages including adults and senior citizens. We loved visiting the zoo. Hearing the experts talk about each animal is very educational. We couldn't believe Fannie Mae, the bear, responded to her name being called.
