We were directed to this beach by a local rock hound as we were in search of fossils. The rock line at the bluff is great for picking through larger rocks and the tide lines are speckled with tumbled shell pieces. If you’re in search of jasper and agate you can do better at Fogarty Creek or Taft Beach, but this is still a great beach to walk.
There’s a small parking lot that had plenty of spots when we got there, including one for RVs or trailers, though there isn’t a lot of space for turning and maneuvering. There are also several picnic tables along the path down to the beach if you just need a beautiful place to stop for a snack.
