Pete the Cat was Great
STAFF gets 0 stars. They were upset about our strollers, multiple staff members told us to move them from the hallway to the main waiting area then back to the hallway several times which was confusing and a hassle for us. Staff was upset with our strollers even though we were putting it where another teammate told us to put it.
When i was trying to take a picture of my friend and her grandchildren, one was crying and a staff member attempted to scare them by slamming her hands on the bench in front and yelling “BAH!” he continued to cry. The staff said “you’re suppose to laugh,” her words not mine. This is completely inappropriate behavior when you don’t know a child, did not ask the guardian if she could help and being scared is obviously stressful, not funny.
After the show, we were taking pictures in front of the photo area. We were stared at then were told a large group was coming soon and we felt like we were being rushed to hurry up.
As a person of color and with a younger child, I was left feeling like a burden to the staff and would strongly recommend sensitivity training to say the least.
Unlike other theaters we were not once told thank you for coming or enjoy the show. Poor experience from...
Read moreVisited for the 1st time 1/11/23 to see Legally Blonde the Musical. I sat in the 3rd row center, orchestra (ticket cost for this performance/this seat was $50). The Theater appeared clean and well maintained. The seats were comfortable with a good amount of leg room. The sound quality was good from where I was seated. They had a good amount of stalls in the ladies' restroom, so the wait time was not too bad during intermission. They have snacks and drinks available during intermission. Wine was $8 for a small glass, bottled water $2. (I didn't buy any snacks, so I don't know prices). The show itself was very well done, with great voices and actors. I am new to the area and so glad to find a venue with live performances that are reasonably priced and will definitely be coming back, and I would definitely recommend...
Read moreI’d give the show 5 stars, but unfortunately, the experience was marred by rude ushers, earning only 1 star for service.
I attended Pete the Cat with my kids, and while I understood that strollers weren't allowed in the seating area but could be left outside, I wanted to ask where I could park mine. When I approached an usher for help, her response was, "There's no place for strollers! This is not a daycare, it's a theater."
She didn’t offer any alternative solutions and made us feel incredibly unwelcome, especially considering this is a children’s show. It felt like we were being discriminated against simply for bringing my younger child.
The show itself was fantastic, but it's a shame that the experience was soured by the staff's attitude. The performers deserve so...
