We stayed for 3 nights in mid April 2023. The sites are an ok sized and there is plenty of room to maneuver and back into sites. We were in a 25ft Class C, but there was a 40+ ft class A that stayed and was able to get backed in with no issues. For us, I feel we would be too close to our neighbors, had someone been beside us. Electrical is 30 or 50 amp at the back of the site. There is a picnic table and fire ring with grill, also at the back of the site. It's like they are set up to "live" at the back of each site. I guess this is efficient, as they get more sites in, but is not so great to RV living.
We tried 6 different sites (all paved) and all of them were unlevel very unlevel. The electrical worked fine. There are no other hook ups.
There is a bathroom/shower house, which is clean, but dirty. Like, the inside and seat of the toilets were clean, but there was a thick layer of dirt on the tank lid. There was water on the floor, I think leaking from the back wall. There was were some debris & bugs on the floor, but it wasn't gross or excessive. I couldn't bring myself to use the showers. I'm very particular about my showers, so if they are not very clean, I just use my rig's shower. The soap dispenser and toilet paper were kept well stocked and the TP wasn't the cheapest thing out there, so that was nice.
There is a lot of road noise and engine braking heard all night.
The sites are situated between a creek and a lagoon. There were ducks and geese around all the time. It seems to be a good fishing spot, as we saw much fishing taking place, even on the weekdays that we stayed. It seems the locals use it as a place to just stop and sit in their vehicles for a bit (perhaps on breaks lunch breaks).
There are two playground areas that I saw. The one closest to the campground is older with just two or three structures (swings & a climbing structure & something else). There is a more modern and large play area, but it is a bit away from the campground.
I would stay here again, if I needed a place to stop on the way through, but I don't think I would enjoy it as a place to stay for a longer period of time again, largely due to the noise and closeness of neighbors.
I am thankful that the city has a city park campground and that they take reservations on-line. I did call the city a couple times in regards to my reservation, and they were always very pleasant...

Ta Ha Zouka has always been a beautiful and reasonably priced place to camp. Unfortunately, our experience this year was disappointing due to numerous cleanliness and maintenance issues—especially in the shower and restroom facilities.
Despite multiple complaints to Parks and Recreation, it wasn’t until we spoke directly with someone picking up garbage that anything was finally addressed.
Our biggest concerns included: • Cigarette butts and trash littering the area • Hair clogging the shower drains • Bloody tampons left in the restrooms • People staying overnight in vehicles and using electricity and showers without paying in our past visit which was complained about. • The designated ADA site being occupied by young campers with canoes and no ADA placards or plates • our lot never got mowed and were high when we arrived •stones and dirt in shower area where someone washes there dogs. •mold on the shower walls
We feel the facilities should be for campers only as I waited 30 minutes for the shower and the female walked to public parking lot when she finished. These ongoing issues are unfair to those who pay to camp and expect a safe, clean environment.
Due to these problems, we’ve decided to camp elsewhere going forward. It’s unfortunate, as this campground has so...

Ta-Ha-Zouka Park in Norfolk, NE is a beautiful campground. The large RV pads offer plenty of space, and the park itself is very dog-friendly—with trails, open space, and a fantastic dog park. It’s a great place to enjoy the outdoors.
However, the biggest drawback this year was the condition of the restroom and shower facilities. I understand they’re public, but it honestly felt like the cleaning crew had checked out.
The men’s restroom was consistently filthy. The sink was covered in dirt and mud for most of our stay, and the shower had leaves, hair, and bits of trash in it. It was disappointing—especially because when we camped here last year, the facilities were spotless.
What happened? This park deserves better upkeep, and the paying campers do too. We hope to see improvements next time, because otherwise, this is a wonderful place to camp. As a suggestion, use port-a-johns for the park and let the restroom/shower for the paying customers. Put Cypher locks on the...
