This park has great facilities in that the dog park is awesome, there are bathrooms at each parking area (which Sutton does not have so sometimes you have to wander into the woods to pee), the kids’ play area is nice. But there aren’t any trees. There are a couple of cedars, sure, but even those are sparse. So there’s no shade from the sun or protection from the wind. The picture attached shows basically what the whole park looks like. The walking path is marked kind of? There are sign posts at trail intersections to tell you which way to the dog park, the disc golf start, the kids play area, the memorial, the practice fields, and I think a couple of other places, but the jogging trails are not marked and are not obvious. There are signs that show maps of the various trails, but literally none of them are marked and I hope you have a good memory or are comfortable just making your own trail. I kept getting lost trying to figure out which way to keep on the 5k trail and ended up jogging around the dog park area, the disc golf course, and mainly the walking trail. With a few more trail markers to indicate which parts are the walking trail, the .33 mile, .88 mile, 1.46 mile, 1.72 mile, 2.27 mile, 4k, and 5k trails, and maybe some trees then this park would be even better. If you want to jog a 5k in the shade through the woods, go to Sutton. If you want to go to the dog park or playground, go...

This is one awesome walking park. It is dog friendly. The path is paved plus some graval trail paths. There is plenty of parking with handicap spots. If you go during the daytime dress appropriately, the sun beats down hot. There are benches to sit on during your walk. Plenty of nature to be seen, so bring your phone to capture beautiful memories ✨️ ❤️ they have awesome restrooms, too, as well as water fountain. Even if you wanted you could pack a lunch there ate a few pick nick tables. All in all, it's a great...

Nice park. There is a walking trail with some art statutes, a nice Pavillion for picnics, and nice clean bathrooms. They do have automatic toliets: for those with noise sensitivities. The playground is a walk from this side of the park. You can drive around the block and park right up to the playground. Overall very nice park. The story of Ruby is very interesting and posted on the wall of the Pavillion. Would recommend and...

Inclusive Playground in Norman, Oklahoma- I literally had so much fun at Ruby Grant Park in Norman, Oklahoma. I may be in my 20s but I probably had more fun at this inclusive playground than the kids who were there. 😅 -Rubber Ground. -Adaptive Swings. -Accessible 'Merry Go Round'. -Accessible Sway Fun Glider. -Braille. -Ramps throughout. -Family Bathroom. -Cement Bench for adult restroom changing. -Accessible Parking. -8ft Wide Trails. -Smooth Entrances. This is a playground for children & adults with all levels of abilities and disabilities. This park is full of opportunities to explore, play, and learn. Have you been to an accessible playground? If so, I want to hear all about it! 🤩 ❣️Save this for places to see in Oklahoma #inclusiveplayground #play4all #playground #adaptive #disabilityinclusion #inclusivetravel #disabilityadvocate #wheelchairaccess #accessibilityawareness #accessibletravel #wheelchairtravel #accessibletourism #wheelchair #wheelchairmodel #disability #wheelchairlife #accessibility #travel #accessible #disabilityawareness #disabledtravel #wheelchairuser #inclusion #travelblogger
