Ruby Grant Park Playground — Attraction in Norman

The kids play area was interesting and innovative except for 2 things. There is a large egg shaped orange chair? On the left side. The soft cushion flooring at this display is not flush with the ground as it is in the rest of the play area. It has about a five inch high edge. My friend tripped over it and took a hard fall. I saw a few kids hurt their shins trying to climb up the slide with the rollers. Overall a great park with cool interactive features. Be sure to take kids by the music station. A Please Close Gate or a self closing gate for the playground would be a nice feature as kids open the gate, but never close it...

Really neat park. Different from other parks. Very futuristic. Lots to do. It gets crowded though. Warning: while trying to get my kid out of one of the plastic swings it came down and hit my face hard. Does not stay up while trying to get your kid out. Makes it difficult and dangerous. Could come down and hit them in the head. I was surprised my nose wasn't broken or I didn't have a black eye. My sunglasses broke the hit. I saw stars though. Other than that it was great. Punks like to tear things up I guess regarding the music notebook. We also came here for the big kids swing mainly & it was gone, (removed) just the chair swing was there for smaller kids. They got the tools for the musical instruments but they don't reach the highest note level. Wish people could do things right the 1st time. For being a fairly new park, it's already looking like a lot of the others, torn up & messed up = no fun for kids or adults that play with their kids...
