I have been a studio member for several months now and absolutely love that NA Clay is in our community. The studio offers classes and workshops as well as 24/7 access (except during the aforementioned classes and workshops) for members. The membership includes kiln firing and glazes. Clay must be purchased in addition to the membership fees. Totally recommend North Adams Clay to anyone in north county looking for a place to do pottery.

Obsessed with this place! The new owners (CJ and Jenny) are so kind and responsive, and it is clear that they are making a really lovely and intentional community here in NA! Also the space is so bright and calm and sweet - with a few quirky and personal pottery-themed decorations! They have everything someone needs to make beautiful pottery on the wheel or hand-building, and are even experimenting with fun new glazes!

I signed up for the beginner wheel throwing class. I had no previous pottery experience, but it’s been something I’ve always wanted to learn. The class was very beginner friendly! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The people are lovely and very helpful! I made things I’m happy with and proud of! I look forward to taking more classes, and learning more skills!

I signed up for the beginner wheel throwing class. I had no previous pottery experience, but it’s been something I’ve always wanted to learn. The class was very beginner friendly! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The people are lovely and very helpful! I made things I’m happy with and proud of! I look forward to taking more classes, and learning more skills!

A wonderful ceramics studio tucked away in a mill building in North Adams, MA. The layout of the studio flows really nicely, there is a ton of space to spread out either at the huge handbuilding or at one of the 8 Shimpo wheels. Equipment is all great and upkeep is well above standard. There is little to no clay dust built up in any part of the studio. The owners are both great people, are very attentive to members, and they stay involved in the local community. Can’t recommend the...
