Eclipse Mill is a good place to live if you’re 75, unemployed and independently wealthy. It is for artists only, but it should state that it is for failed artists. Most residents are not showing. They have an email group where they banter and gossip, complaining of noisy neighbors and delivery people. You cannot play music or even TV loud, which is necessary due to the oppressive street noise. Union Street is unbelievably loud. Also quite grimy, there is a film of soot covering everything. You cannot use the backyard to grill in the summer or vegetarians will complain. Octogenarians regularly forget their keys in the mailbox units and residents can be seen holding their walkers, wandering down the hallway like a scene from Night of the Living Dead.
