Hiked Sunday at noon, one week after lots of snow. Everything looked rainy in town and sunny the day before, so reduced crowd. It snowed, was overcast, but we could glimpse peaks. Cars went about 50 down parallel parked on either side. Constant flow of about 5 people per minute. Lots of parents hauling kids on sleds, and people going hiking boots only to full snowshoes and poles. I hiked happy with no gear, my friend used poles, and my other friend used poles and spikes. Took us about 2 hours to do the loop with many stops for scenic soaks, and a pause for wine snowballs. Outhouses were in a state - brimming, with poo on wet floor, dumped wads of clothes and trash.
