Great experience for someone who is looking for an easy walk. The location is beautiful, clean and well maintained. Fairly busy when we were there. We got one of the last parking spots. When we actually got on the path we encountered many folks out for a social stroll but at a strong pace. A number of dogs accompanying the walkers but they were well behaved, on leash and being cleaned up after. We did encounter one woman with two large dogs that she let go swimming in the lake. The geese were not happy to have their space invaded. There are lots of trails so you can easily expand your walk. All of them were very easy. Be aware that you may share the path with horses but the paths are wide enough that there was no issue for us. There are bathrooms at the parking lot which were clean and accessible. Then you can get run over by kids whose parents never taught them that they should politely "share the highway." The circular cinder trail around the lake is an easy walk at just under one mile. There are many walking trails and extended portions with shade. The trails are wide and well-maintained. The lake loop is flat and easy to walk. Other trails have more elevation and challenge.
