The play structure in the park is unique. There are levels on a tarp like material that go high up held together by stretchy bungee cords. There is a little thing kids can pretend to surf or skate on and balance on,it is usually quite muddy and unusable. There is a few small slides. There is a bench, and picnic tables and plenty of places to sit

It is a very small park. It's quite clean and bathrooms are always open. However, one month a pole had fallen. From winds which just knocked it over.

There is a nice little walk which is dedicated to a fallen officer. It is a very very short walk through a few tall trees and some nice flower bushes.

There are some volleyball nets closer to the road and not much of a grassy area at all. It's not a wide open space. There is no view of anything except for some tall trees and a road and houses on the other side.

You think there would be more trails by the boat ramp but it's not public friendly and just goes straight through some housing built there.

Also it's pretty close to the...

Blythe Landing is a fantastic spot for a day out with family or friends! The park is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery and well-kept facilities. The lake views are stunning, making it a perfect location for a picnic or just to relax and enjoy nature.

The playground is a hit with kids, and the volleyball courts are great for some active fun. There are also boat ramps for those looking to get out on the water. I appreciated the ample parking and the clean restrooms.

Overall, Blythe Landing offers a serene and enjoyable experience for people of all ages. Highly recommended for anyone in the Huntersville area looking to spend some quality...

Nice Park & Boat Launch Ramps !

I saw 5 volleyball courts here (byob ?)

There is also a bathroom facility, a NICE climbing gym structure & a number of full view shaded picnic tables with grill sites surrounding the play area.

THIS would be a perfect spot for a small kid romp & grill some hotdogs kinda place WITH a fence between this play area & LKNorman

AROUND THE CORNER is a nice boat launch area. Structure has bathrooms & what looks like a concession area window (see pictures)

This is also the access for the Lake Norman Community Sailing group. ** If you spoke with the sailing guys at the midatlantic boat show this is...

Great place to fish and launch your boat. Because when you launch as each ramp is about the width of a truck. The ramps DON'T connect so too far to the middle and onto the water goes the boat, trailer and vehicle. They have pot-a-pottys and a small marina of docks to land on for quick stops. It currently says they will charge but I've never seen anyone at the gate before. Please don't fish from the docks. I see people often try but it's a safety problem. If you make it so staff is required then they will start charging again for entry.

This park is great! It has a playground for kids, volleyball, lake access and picnic tables. Probably has more, but we didn't explore it all. It's the perfect place to take your family, hammock and picnic while enjoying the view.
