Great spot to go fishing and crabbing, catch an amazing sun set, and just have a great peaceful view of the tidal inlet marsh land. Oh yea, for launching smaller boats as well.

It was built nicely and very accessible for boats, trailers, trucks, cars and people. plenty of designated spots for trucks with boat trailers up in the front entrance. Parking for cars is not as nice, with the lot being all the way in the back left and not organized, just pretty much park where ever and how ever. Next to the boat launch leading into the water, you have a nice sized floating dock on the right of it. And the wooden deck/dock up on the left. You can fish and crab here, as well as off the the retaining wall running all down that left side of the park. (Roughly 100yards or so along the water.) There's plenty of trash cans, benches, and even pretty clean bathrooms that are handicap accessible I believe. I think most of the park looks like it would be wheelchair/handicap accessible. I've been there 2-3 times so far this week.

Now the fishing dock can get pretty crowded as space is limited being that it's not that big. Also fishing and crabbing are tough during low tide because the waters get extremely shallow...

My wife and I we are from Camden South Carolina lots of times we'll stop there to take a walk and see the wildlife there we went this past week and now they have signed up do you have to pay to park all the places there now for public parking you have to you have to pay I think it's a rip off so if you're planning to go to try to find a place to park you have to pay to walk to the beach or go to the boat landing I just think we'll stop going there so if anyone is planning to come down to North Myrtle Beach to take a walk or see the the beach I want to take a walk around the boat landing you will have to pay no thanks we'll find somewhere else to go so so what is the city of North Myrtle Beach going to have people to pay for next I think it is wrong to people have to pay to park So what are they going to come up with next for us to have to pay for to visit North...

Wish pier went alittle further out... Been going there for 35 yrs... Love the benches along the side adjacent to the pier.... Love the boat docks n separate Kayak ramps... Maybe even a second little single pier would be great for those who just want to crab or throw a net for shrimp especially those of us W kids who don't really want to fish... Maybe even a small playground in the available space even if nothing but a swing set would be awesome for when kids gets extremely bored and antsy... So parents aren't so stressed... Thank you.. Love all the updates thus far over the many years of enjoying the area W my family......

One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to. It was not too busy and just had the right amount of people. There was more than just the regular straight beach with the little inlet. Best to go at low tide as you can hop over to an island with a short swim. It was clean, well maintained, and just straight awesome. This was 100% my favorite beach in the area and probably one of the best that I’ve been to. The sand was probably the finest I have ever seen.

I go kayaking into the Cherry Grove area about once a week -- always launch from here. They just re-did the launch along the left side with brand-new concrete padding. Easy to get in the water and out there. Lots of open space, it can get more busy on the weekend but still plenty of water around for everyone to enjoy + fish. The water has flounder, trout, redfish and other less common fish too.
