Cross Timbers Park — Attraction in North Richland Hills

HAVE BEEN COMING TO THIS PARK FOR AROUND 20 YEARS!!! LOVE THIS PARK AND THE WOODS ON THE OFF TRAILS!!! GREAT FOR WALKING, HIKING, RUNNING, BIKING, OR TAKING YOUR DOGS FOR WALKS...MOST PEOPLE ARE NICE AND FRIENDLY BUT BEWARE THOUGH BECAUSE THERE ARE PLENTY OF KARENS OUT HERE THAT WILL TRY TO HARASS YOU FOR NO REASON...HAVE HAD COUNTLESS EXPERIENCES WITH THEM OVER THE YEARS UNFORTUNATELY!!! BUT DO NOT LET THEM DETER YOU FROM THIS PLACE!!! JUST HAVE YOUR PHONE READY SO YOU CAN POST THEM AND MAKE SURE THEY GO VIRAL FOR THEIR POINTLESS TIRADE AND LACK OF RESPECT!!! STILL A GREAT PARK AND TRAILS AND WHY I'M STILL GIVING IT 5 STARS!!! I WOULD SAY IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE WATER FOUNTAINS ON THE TRAIL FOR HUMANS AND DOGS BUT OTHER THAN THAT NO REAL COMPLAINTS!!! This is a gorgeous, family-friendly park that's perfect for a relaxing day outdoors. It features two well-kept baseball fields and a beautiful playground that kids will love. The walking trails are a highlight—peaceful, scenic, and shaded by plenty of trees, making them perfect for a stroll even on warmer days. Really Lovve this park, it part of Adventure World Playground so there a place for the kiddos to play also, has baseball fields and some covered pinic areas no grills though. Concrete trail goes 1.9 miles around a natural wooded area there is wildlife I personally have spotted a fox, bobcat, and many different birds lots of Cardinals. There are dirt trails also this park is a walker/joggers dream most folks come for the play area and from the road it looks like that's it the pathway is tucked away nicely and it doesn't draw alot of folks mostly locals. Morning walks are the best especially without the headphones for a lap or so listening to the birds sing...
