Parking in the paved lot is 25/day. There is no hourly rate like at other paid lots in Surf City. If you are just visiting to walk the area it is a little pricey . Plenty of space. Porta potties available. Good fishing just off the inlet. If you have a 4WD get permits prior and just drive out. Beware of the tide times. If you are just here to swim go to the main beach access points prior to this point. The parking is free at those specific locations but you need to look for the signs indicating that. To pay in the paid lots you need to create an account and pay online. If you walk over to the sign you will need to have your car's plate number so you don't have to walk back to get it. The sign at the lot has the lot # and instructions on how to pay. I'm not aware of how this...

I explained that we didn't know that there were different signs. He wouldn't make an exception. We were...

There is no really upkeep for this area that can't easily be done by volunteers and charging high fines for littering and the like. But instead they are catering to the rich and wealthy that don't care if costs so much and don't care about how they treat the area. People willing to pay that much are also typically the ones that feel entitled. I'm a local and will not use this beach because I refuse to support...
