Jeorse Park Beach — Attraction in North Township

I came here today Tuesday June 18th, 2024 with my mom, daughter, and 2 year old granddaughter for the first time. We got there about 10:45am, only people there and let me tell you the entire beach was absolutely DISGUSTING!!! All the garbage cans were full, looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in several weeks. Well being where it is. You would think they would keep it clean. The beach that is. The bathrooms had no soap to clean your hands. and sign say don't eat untill you wash your hands. Because of ecocile in the water. Had two guys riding 4 wheeler past us four times they worked there and never attempted to pick up one piece of trash....

Free! No charge for parking. There is sand, pebbles, and rocks with a sprinkling of trash. It's about a mile of beach between two steel mills, so it's not a beautiful view.
