Atmosphere was great, the venue is really cool and if you get there early you can wander the park enjoying the sights. While drinks are expensive (they always are) plenty of people pre game at their car before heading in, and there are some great local food trucks. The outdoor lawn seat vibes would have been impeccable if the weather held up. If there's any sign of thunderstorms the night of your show you should probably just try to sell your ticket. We lost fifteen dollars on parking for a show that was eventually canceled 3 hours after it was supposed to start, and that was after they let thousands of people in, evacuated them to their cars, and let them all in again. Safety is important at an outdoor venue so I don't really think they could have/should have done everything differently, but this was a far trek for me to not see a show and to sit in my car listening to the rain instead...
Read moreWent to see Buddy Guy and Sarah Fish. Show was absolutely amazing! This is not about the show, but the venue. Pay good money for the show, then they charge $15 for parking and $11 a beer (can't bring your own). The stage was good, as was the atmosphere, but the seating was aweful. They had child sized seats, sat right on top of each other. Fortunately we were end seats, so could slide them out a bit further so we weren't sitting on each others lap, but the poor folks inside had to sit contorted to fit. Leaving was a complete messy disaster, took forever to get out (what was that $15 for?). Think I'll avaoid concerts there...
Read moreDo not pay for reserved seating! Fold out chairs and super cramped like sardines, couldn’t even move my arms, talk about being uncomfortable! Parking on the ballfield so it’s wet when walking back to your cars; also no one directs the cars off the field when it’s time to leave and pedestrians are walking everywhere, makes it impossible to drive and huge opportunity to lead to an accident. Besides the show we saw I was not impressed with this venue. Will not return for...
