Came in seeking edibles specifically without citric acid as mentioned multiple times to my budtender. Was recommended “vegan” edibles by Good Tide… From what I could see of the label the ingredients were clean, so I asked for 2. Got outside to my truck and sure enough “citric acid.” Citric acid is MOLD quite literally… and is contained within SEVERAL of the edibles sold throughout Colorado. Do your research. Stuck with 200mg of edibles I can’t even eat as I am extremely allergic to Citric acid… This has left a sour taste in my mouth and due to the negligence on my bystanders part, I will most likely find another dispensary to fulfill my THC consumption needs. Dude was wearing a purple/black plaid shirt, the same one he was wearing the day before. 👎 My first negative experience at “The Green Solution” anywhere. Knowledge is power, there’s no place for citric acid in the human diet.
If I walk into a restaurant and mention having food allergies and said restaurant knowingly still prepares said food in a fashion that is consistent with subjecting me to said allergies, I would have a pretty substantial case on my hands.
However, if I walk into a legal dispensary and mention allergies to a certain ingredient or food, and they then recommend me a product that contains said ingredient, and remain with said product in their hands thru the transaction process, beings I paid for said product, I’m no longer able to return said product… and am left with the option to “leave a review.”
