NOT COVID SAFE. Skyzone has historically been the scene of lots of fun times - both friends and our own family's birthday parties. Today was the first time we had gone since 3/2020 because of the pandemic. Upon entry, we were greeted by the "new waiver" requirement - which as of Sept expanded to not only limit their liability for injury, but also specify guidelines for social distancing, mask wearing, etc. This was reinforced to me at check in - fully vaccinated people could forego masks if they wished, but all children under 12 were required to wear masks because none could have completed both vax doses yet - all totally reasonable stuff. Yet as we went up to the jumping area for the party we were joining (about 20 kids all in masks, with most adults still opting to do the same), there was a group congregating in the lobby which, due to extensive media coverage, is known to both opt out of vaccines entirely and decline mitigation strategies. When they were through checking in, there were at least 80 of them, of all ages, not a mask in sight. They came into the recreation area and mixed in with other parties. Several parents from different groups went to the desk and ultimately to the manager to voice our alarm and displeasure that they were not enforcing their new waiver rules uniformly across all guests, and were met with a "well we don't know who is vaccinated and who isn't" response... well, how about we start with the 40+ kids under 12? Then we will move on to the adults, whom we know decline vaccination. The manager ultimately moved the kids in the birthday party to a roped off section, but the damage was done. It took 6 people complaining to get any action at all from them... making money is clearly more important to them that protecting the health of all their guests. I won't be going back until...
Read moreBeware of bringing your children to this location. I brought my two grandchildren to play Saturday afternoon. It took us 30 mins to get checked in, then they only have open cubbies available. There are plenty of lockers but they do not work
I saw only 4 staff members throughout the park, there were what seemed like a thousand kids running everywhere. I was actively involved with my grands' play time mainly so I could make sure they were safe.
My 5 year old grandson went to shoot basketballs but that was impossible because there was no staff presence to make sure the kids were sharing the balls. There were about 5 or more kids at a time trying to wrestle for the balls for each lane. At one point, the big teens came and completely dominated the area and I was almost knocked over twice.
At a certain time the lights were turned off for GLOW time; that's where the true chaos began. I watched a teenager around 13 or 14 years old, shove my 5-year old down then stood over him and laughed then grabbed his friend and ran off when they saw me pointing and coming towards them.
I notified a worker but the kid had already run off. My grandkids were scared at that point and wanted to leave. Now my grandson is scared to return.
They require you to sign a waiver but parents sign it with the expectation that there is a certain level of safety and staff chaperones. I will never recommend such a zoo-like...
Read moreWe held a birthday party here a couple weeks ago. I cannot with good conscience, recommend this place for a party. The management left a lot to be desired. The kids arrived and were told to sit in a busy lobby on some bleachers for 30 minutes with no activities or games. The kids were running around and it was nerve wracking to keep track of them and constantly ask them to sit down and do nothing for a half hour. The birthday party helpers were nice and told me to relax and it would be stress free. So I tried....I wanted nothing more to just relax and enjoy the party. Fast forward 20 minutes and an 8 year old falls off a the monkey and bars and breaks his wrist :( It was painful to watch. They told us that they had no first aid kit and that all they could do was call the paramedics. Two of the parents at the party were doctors and knew how to make a splint. But since there was no first aid kit, this couldn't be accomplished. I don't know who in their right mind would open a trampoline park and not offer first aid. Since we signed waivers, do they just not care? The icing on the cake (no pun intended) happened when they never even bothered to call and follow up with the parents of the child who got the broken wrist. I felt upset by all this. Not worth the $700 I ended up paying for this party. Save your money and go to "Pump It up" or...
