I went for the Maple Fest. To be honest, I’m sad that I only now found out about this awesome place, after living close by for years!

The event was a lot of fun, well thought out, and the breakfast included was a hit. Beyond that, it was truly educational. I learned so much about maple syrup and the entire process from harvesting to processing the sap. We were about to take the tour to see the entire process. I was so amazed by the work and planning that went into this event! All ages could reap and enjoy.

This location is truly spectacular- it feels very far away from the hustle and bustle of the suburban area. It is picturesque and relaxing. I went in March when things are still looking rather brown, but I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the height of summer. The animals look happy!

All the volunteers and staff (including Kathy, whom I enjoyed chatting with!) were very friendly and welcoming.

I am excited to hear that they are open daily to the public, and also host more events throughout the year. I’m looking forward to going back!

Thank you for the great time at your...

Great place. Visited Santa on the farm. Hayride was the best with stops at the baby goats and chicken coop. The man leading the hayride was so kind and knowledgeable and even had some funny farm jokes. Everyone was very friendly. We visited the farmstand and got some homemade goat's milk soap, apple chips, fruit leather, and maple granola that was made and sold by the children at the MSU education center. Ended our visit with hot chocolate, coffee and hot donuts! There was also fresh honey onsite and beeswax candles. Very safe experience during COVID with mask...

It's a cool experience and the main office buildings, grain silo turned history center, picnic shelter, and pond area are very well maintained.

We wanted a bit more education aimed at the general public regarding the animals, agriculture areas, and even children's garden. And also maybe some guidance as to where we should and shouldn't go. Some of the same areas also could have used a bit of extra love and maintenance.

Our little one loved seeing the animals and the animals were all happy to...

Our family went to an overnight camping event Starry Night at the Farm. They had the Oakland astronomy Club to teach us about the planets and stars. We roasted marshmallows and made smores. We visited all the farm animals the next morning. There were also a couple more astronomy events the next day. It was a wonderful overnight visit. They noted that it is open to the public to come and walk around during the day.

Brought my nieces to Pumpkinfest on a Saturday and they loved it. Fun activities for the younger crowd like pumpkin picking and pumpkin painting, educational booths/ interactive activities for the kids, live music, and cute farm animals. They also had yummy donuts, popcorn and apple cider.
