One of my favorite parks on island. So tranquil. Waves from the bay, breezy, with lots of shade even in the hottest part of the day. Bathrooms had toilet paper & soap which was nice. The playground has a few features I haven’t seen at other parks which made it very enjoyable for my 3 and 5 year old. It's clean and the bathroom seems well maintained, but it's too lumpy for walking. The water is brown because it's a mudflat so no one swims here. Mostly people launch kayaks, but the area in front of the water has sizable potholes. I've never seen the jungle gym area without construction tape...
Read moreWe went to this park for the first time to eat our lunch. It was nice and quiet. Unfortunately, the day we went out was very windy so we had to eat in our car instead of at one of the picnic tables. There is a dirt lot next to the water so we parked there so we could still enjoy sound of the water even from the car.
The park is all cared for. Everything was clean.
