I love this beach! Beautiful, fluffy sand and such pretty water. The waves can be pretty rough and more suited for body surfing but there are some shallow areas that you can swim in. Lifeguards are always on watch and we saw them come down multiple times to ask people not to swim in certain areas and also got on their megaphones a few times as well. There’s also several rocky areas with tidepools. Great beach for tanning and getting your feet wet though

My kids loved this beach for the tide pools, little pools to play in and the beach. There are bathrooms here but they weren’t clean when we were there. There are some homeless people that live on this beach so be aware. Lovely place to see some of that Hawaii beauty!

Nice small beach. A lot of people staked out here for the weekend with their families, tents, and all. It’s a beautiful site and would definitely spend many hours enjoying the gorgeous mountains backdrop and admiring the sites of Rabbit Island and Kaohikaipu island.

Stumbled upon this beach on a late Sunday morning and it was full of families, BBQs, and parties. There were people fishing and little ones playing in the smaller tide pool areas until the tide came in. Saw lots of local kids on boogie boards enjoying the tiny surf closer to shore. Water shoes might be useful but not essential. Dog friendly and a great place for a swim and enjoy...

Homeless tents galore dont come to this side of the island as its riddled with homeless encampments. The local government should be ashamed of itself for letting this paradise go to complete disarray. If you are a tourist don’t come to this side of the island at all...
