Makapuʻu Beach Park — Attraction in Oʻahu

Bodyboarding/bodysurfing epicenter. Currents are relentless, even on small days. Be careful! Also, break ins occur here all the time. Thieves arrive in a vehicle, one or two guys get out and break into a car, and then they leave...all within 30 seconds. Don't leave anything valuable in your car, and you may want to leave your windows down and doors unlocked...so if someone does want to snoop in your car, at least they won't break your windows or locks in the process.
